Deathcore metal group formed in 1999 in Sacramento, California, USA. Released in 2005, the hardcore metal song "The Fathers Right Hand (My Lai)" (Abacus Recordings # CR13) told the story, through violent lyrics, of a Vietnam veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): "reliving the horror each night, a victim lost forever" - possibly of My Lai, based on the song title. It also alluded to drugs use: "Even through morphine eyes...now carry this addiction". Both drugs and PTSD are themes frequently found in post-Vietnam War songs.
