About the artist
Bill Oliver, born 12 July 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri; raised in St. Louis, Little Rock and Houston, attended the University of Texas at Arlington (1966-68), served two years in the US Army including Vietnam, and settled in Austin, Texas, by the mid-1970s, where he became the environmental singer-songwriter "Mr. Habitat" with the Otter Space Band.
