Heavy Metal group, formed in 1991, Reims, France, slow the music up for the song "My-Laï" (# REF 7778777.2) - also the name of the band - in which the lyrics recalled the event of the My Lai massacre - the mass murder of between 300-500 civilians in the South Vietnamese area known as "Pinkville", containing the hamlets, known as My Lai 4 and My Khe 4, and throughout the area of Song My, by US forces on 16 March 1968 - "it was in 1968...in a Sunday morning...let us put a life away". The narrated "wanted to know the truth" of why Calley committed the crime.
