Released in Beijing, China, on China Record Company (# M-797), this is actually sung in Vietnamese, performed by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. But the front cover is taken from a Chinese poster. On the back cover, the song titles are written in Vietnamese, English, and French. The title song "解放进行曲" is the famous North Vietnamese song "Liberation March" discussed above. The track "Song of the Anti-Aircraft Marksmen" focused on the role of those fighting, while the song "Quang Binh, My Native Place" and the song "Bright Shines the Moon in My Village" focus on local pride and nationalism.
