Annotation
Rabid, Death Metal group formed in Moravia, New York, USA. They released the track "My Lai" - a cover of the Impetigo song, from the 1987 EP "All We Need Is Cheez", about the My Lai Massacre - the mass murder of between 300-500 civilians in the South Vietnamese area known as "Pinkville", containing the hamlets, known as My Lai 4 and My Khe 4, and throughout the area of Song My, by US forces on 16 March 1968. As noted under that listing, the lyrics leaned towards protesting the actions of Calley, who had killed "some reds...like your daddy said" - thus placing it within the context of the Cold War and the 1950s/60s fear of communism.
