Heavy Metal band, formed in 1983 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a somewhat revolving line-up, featuring Luiz F. Machado (guitars, 1983-89, 2006-present), João Henrique Machado (bass, 1983-89), Marcelo Marinho (vocals, 1983-84), Renato Celso (drums, 1983-84), Marco (drums, 1984-1986), Laércio Figueiredo (vocals, 1984-86), Roberto Moura (drums, 1986), Armando Pereira (drums, 1986-89, 2006-?), Sílvio Mazzei (vocals, 1986-89, 2006-present). They released the song "Napalm", an anti-war track, an interesting reflection of Cold War fears of nuclear destruction, referencing "Hiroshima", and of course, as in the title, chemical weapon Napalm B - a jellied gasoline mixture, with polystyrene, benzene, and gasoline. Declared a war-crime since 1980, the US government extensively used this weapon during the Vietnam conflict, dropping 388,000 tons on Indochina between 1963 and 1973. Inquisição were a Brazilian heavy and speed metal band formed in 1983 by the brothers Luiz F. Machado and João H. Machado, who issued demo cassettes in 1985, 1986 and 1987 before a self-titled vinyl release much later. "Napalm" is the closing track of that self-titled record, issued privately in Brazil as CG-009 in 2001, with a line-up of Sílvio Mazzei (vocals), Luiz Machado (guitar), João Machado (bass) and Armando Pereira (drums).
