Another "Jody" track - "Jody, Come Back and Get Your Shoes" (Spring Records # SPR 125) - this one also does not mention war or soldiers, only that a man has "been gone for a month", during which time Jody stole his wife. This drove the husband slightly crazy, whose been going around "with a 38 in his hand". The song sent out a warning that "you never know who Jody is...could be the milkman...the mailman too" and even "your very best friend".
