Annotation — Veterans Memorial Wall Songs
Sarge Lintecum was a veteran, who served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968, for twenty six months. His first tour was for eleven months, in the jungle with the 101st Airborne Division, doing search and destroy missions. His second tour was at E Company Support Battalion, at the base camp of the 101st Airborne Division, and his third tour was as a security guard with the elite Saigon Machine Gun Patrol. (1) He released a few albums of Vietnam War-related material. On the blues rock album he released the song "Reunion at the Wall", which started out with the intro: "I'd like to dedicated this song to all the GIs whose names are on the Wall". The narrator said that he was going to the memorial wall in D.C. to visit his friends that he served with in Vietnam.

Three-tour Vietnam combat veteran (101st Airborne, 1966-68) turned blues singer, songwriter and harmonica player; Purple Heart recipient. Based in the Phoenix/Tempe, Arizona area.
