Bobby Ross, a country artist, born on 4 September 1947, in California, USA is a Vietnam veteran - he served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 2/17th CAV in the 101st Airborne Division in the Vietnam War in 1968 and 1969. He retired from music in 2004 and runs a farm in the Sacramento Valley, California, USA. He has taken an active part in veteran affairs.
