Annotation
Australian Post-Punk group formed in August 1984, in Adelaide, South Australia. The core members were the brothers John Scott (guitar, vocals) and Kim Scott (bass), accompanied by a rotating line-up. They released the song "Battlesick" (Dominator Records # DOMA 006), also the name of the album, about a Vietnam veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - frequently referenced in post-war 1980s songs about US veterans, often connected in songs to stress, shell shock, flashbacks, nostalgia, and feelings and dreams related to an event: "torn apart inside...our head in your hands". The image on the front cover was a David Hume Kennerly portrait of an American soldier in Vietnam. (1) The group also released the song "Viet Vet" on the 1994 single Tell Me ( Insipid Vinyl # IV-27).
