Annotation
The album "ベトナム解放のうた" ("Vietnam Liberation Songs") (CBS / Sony Records # SOLL 187) appears to be North Vietnamese patriotic songs in the Nhạc đỏ ("Red Music") genre - which developed at the beginning of the 20th century, containing elements of Western Classical Music, while lyrically focusing on socialism and independence, as well as containing anti-imperialist / colonialist sentiment. It's also influenced by revolutionary music from China and the USSR. Some also contained elements of Vietnamese Folk Music. See:

Songs included paying tribute to the North Vietnamese leader: "ホーチミン讃歌" ("Ho Chi Minh Hymn"), as well as praising different elements fighting the war, including woman, often found in patriotic North Vietnamese music: "サイゴン女子挺身隊の歌" ("Saigon Women's Volunteer Corps Song" and "解放軍戦士に光栄あれ" ("Honor to the Liberation Army Fighters").
