Annotation — Japanese Songs

Noriko Shintani, born on 3 October 1946 in Hokuto, Japan, released the peace / protest song "戦争は終わったけれど" ("Although the War Is Over") (Philips # FS-1751), largely considered to be part of the anti-Vietnam War movement in Japan, which looked at the aftermath of the conflict: "it's desolate... people still don't laugh... children are still hungry".
