Composed 1999 for MIDI trombone; the liner notes say it commemorates the killing of Vietnamese civilians on 16 March 1968 and reflects on how young men are trained for such violence. Released 1 October 2000 (AllMusic).
About the artist
Los Angeles composer and trombonist (BA/MA San Diego State, DMA USC) who taught electronic music at Los Angeles Harbor College, was a Senior Fulbright Lecturer at the Cracow Academy of Music (1991-92), founded the journal SEAMUS and pioneered the MIDI trombone.
