About the artist
Jimmy Thudpucker is the fictional rock star of Garry Trudeau's "Doonesbury" strip (from 1975); for the 1977 NBC "A Doonesbury Special" and this Windsong LP he was voiced and sung by James Allen "Jimmy" Brewer, with Steve Cropper producing at Clover Studios and a session band including Donald "Duck" Dunn, Jeff Porcaro, Jay Graydon and David Foster.
