Danish political / musical collective, formed in 1971. The name of the group, Slumstormerne, is taken from the term used to describe those who occupied empty and condemned properties from the 1960s to the early 1970s in Denmark. (1) (2) This album contained the song "Hvordan er dine drømme, Nixon?" ("How Are Your Dreams, Nixon?") (Demos # Demos 4), which took an anti-war perspective, condemning the actions of the US president Richard Nixon. The opening line references the My Lai Massacre, the mass murder of between 300-500 civilians in the South Vietnamese villages of My Lai and Song My by US forces on 16 March 1968, took place during the Vietnam War, let by platoon leader, Second Lieutenant William Calley: "do they mark the stench of corpses from Mai Lai".

About the artist
Danish political music collective formed in 1971 out of Copenhagen's "slumstormer" squatting movement (the occupation of Jægersborggade 3); the group ran a café and childcare, and a core later helped found DKP/ML.
