About the artist
Garage rock recording by Jerry Dayton, the stage name of Ralph F. Mandia, born in New York City on 6 June 1944, died 2 June 2009 in West Nyack, New York. He played in bands in and around NYC and cut records under the Jerry Dayton name in the mid-1960s, including a second single on Epic. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of Sergeant, stationed mostly in Korea.
