Southern Hip Hop artist, also known as Robert (Top Dog) Simmons Jr. The song "Vietnam-In-America" (On the One Records # RSC 81618-8) provided a portrayal of a struggling Vietnam War veteran in the US, mistreated, as well as racially discriminated against: "I thought the war was over but I can't tell, cause every time I see a gook I want to raise some hell, but a black man can't get a government loan".
