Annotation
Hardcore Punk group Moral Disgust from Wisconsin, released the song "Vietnam (Isn't Over)" (Erosion Records # ERO-029) in 1990, continuing the 80s trend of presenting a Vietnam veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - frequently referenced in post-war 1980s songs about US veterans, often connected in songs to stress, shell shock, flashbacks, nostalgia, and feelings and dreams related to an event: "back in Vietnam...Johnny's never coming home...", and "something's made him lose his mind". The vet turns to violence, purchasing a gun, and shooting his family dead: "attacked his mom and dad today... Johnny shot grandpa... he's on a killing spree".
