Thrash Metal group War Plague, formed in 2002 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. Its members were: Markymetal (vocals, guitar), Bazooka Joe (vocals, guitar), and Tripwire (vocals, drums). The song "P.O.W.M.I.A." (Pagan Flames Productions # PFEP 002) propagated the myth that many US soldiers remained in Vietnam as P.O.W.s, as seen in a spate of early 80s films, such as First Blood [Rambo] (1982), Uncommon Valor (1983), and Missing in Action (1984), and represented in dozens of songs in the post-war period, containing the line: "an end to America's involvement in Vietnam cannot come before we have achieved the fullest possible accounting of those missing in action".
