Industrial Metal / Thrash Metal group, formed in 1993 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and disbanded in 1995, comprised Max Cavalera (vocals, guitar, bass, samples) and Alex Newport (vocals, guitar, bass, samples) - the front cover of this album (Roadrunner Records # RR 9055-2), as well as its name, are from the photograph called "Point Blank Persuasion", taken in Tam Ky, South Vietnam, on 9 November 1967, showing a U.S. soldier pressing an M16 rifle to the head of a woman "Viet Cong suspect" - it's used to provide the listener with a preview this nihilistic, protest album, or as described by Max Cavalera in an interview, it "represented the music of the album because it’s very aggressive, very war-like, but also black ‘n’ white with a punk kind of feeling".
