Annotation

The song "Vietnam" (Poison Apple Records # 3420) by Abner Jay, released in 1968, told the story of a young man drafted to fight the "terrible" war in Vietnam. Jay famously played the "bones" - a musical style that involved playing percussive rhythms using dried out cow and chicken bones. (1) Featured on the 2003 compilation One Man Band (Subliminal Sounds # SUBCD-7).
