Released by the "Union des etudiants Vietnamiens en France" ("Union of Vietnamese Students in France") (# SF. 116), released in France, and the track titles are written in French and Vietnamese. The first song, labelled as "Hymme national de la Republique Democratique du Vietnam" ("National Anthem of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam"), is in fact the well-known song "Tiến Quân Ca" ("The Marching Song"), composed by Văn Cao in 1944, which was adopted as the national anthem of North Vietnam in 1954, and became the national anthem of the new unified Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1976. Also on this theme, the first song on the B-side was "Hymne Officiel du Front National de Libération du Sud Vietnam" ("Official Anthem of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam") - otherwise known as "Giai Phong Mien Nam", composed by the trio Lưu Hữu Phước, Mai Văn Bộ and Huỳnh Văn Tiểng, known under the pseudonym Huỳnh Minh Siêng, composed in 1961, and adopted by the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (Viet Cong) in 1969.
