The song "POWMIA" (Wrayco Records # WM 219) by Sandy Bagley, the wife of P.O.W. Major Bobby Ray Bagley, captured in North Vietnam on 16 September 1967, and released on 14 March 1973. (1) (2) The back of the 7" single picture sleeve said "Housewife, Sandy Bagley of Sumter, S.C. sings her own true story about her husband, Major Bobby Bagley who has been a prisoner of war for five years and still remains along with many husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers in POW camps half way across the world - Sandy and her daughter, Little Vicky Ann, keep a constant prayer on their lips and faith in their hearts that soon, Major Bobby Bagley and all the prisoners of war and those missing in action will once again be back home with the ones whose love is mightier than the sword".
