Annotation
Indie rock group, formed in 1994 in San Francisco, California, USA, disbanded in 1999, comprised of John Vanderslice, Jon Merker, Jordan Newhouse, and Matt Torrey. They released the song "Post Office Bomb" (Artichoke Records # 000001). This was an anti-establishment piece, which made several historical references, such as to the third president of the US Thomas Jefferson, the communist revolution in Russia in 1917, and high profile protests in the 60s and 70s: "Paris 68, Rome 70, Chicago 68, 1917, small bombs are better than none".
