Crossover Thrash and Thrashcore group, formed in 1985 in Portland, Oregon, USA, featuring Tito Matos [aka Tape Head Tito] (vocals), Marco Zorich [aka Marco Sharko] (guitar), John Duffy (guitar), Shann Mortimer (bass), Brian Lehfeldt (drums). They released the song "Napalm Shower" (New Renaissance Records # NRR23) about general war destruction, a reflection of Cold War fears: "one flick of the switch, and we're all dead". It referenced the weapon used most widely by the US government in the Vietnam War, as also noted in the title of the song: "napalm spreads on, our city is gone". Chemical weapon Napalm B is a jellied gasoline mixture, with polystyrene, benzene, and gasoline. Declared a war-crime since 1980, the US government extensively used this weapon during the Vietnam conflict, dropping 388,000 tons on Indochina between 1963 and 1973. (1) (2) (3)

Wehrmacht is an American crossover-thrash band formed in 1985 in Portland, Oregon, whose "Napalm Shower" appears on the debut album "Shark Attack" (New Renaissance, 1987); a second album, "Biermacht", followed the same year.
