The track "A Letter to Santa Clause" (Spot Records # 13351), released in 1969 by another obscure, unknown artist, also asked Santa Clause (similar to "Dear Mr. Santa Clause" by Chi Chi Wilson, discussed below) to send daddy home for Christmas as "he is fighting somewhere, way across the sea". The track does not actually mention Vietnam. Possible sung by a teenager or older child.
