Cal Green (1935-2004), born in Dayton, Texas, was the R&B/jazz guitarist of Hank Ballard & the Midnighters from 1954 and co-writer of 'The Twist'; after relocating to Los Angeles for session and jazz-funk work he cut 'Trippin'' b/w 'Johnny's Gone To Vietnam' (Mutt & Jeff 22, 1972, produced by Joey Jefferson).
