About the artist
Leslie Butler, known professionally as Leslie 'Professor' Butler and also as 'The Scientist' and Grass Power, was a Jamaican reggae pianist and organist and the elder brother of the Jamaican keyboard player Harold Butler; he led the Leslie Butler Trio and Leslie Butler Plus 3 and was a member of Generation Gap. His instrumental "Ho Chi Ming Trail" - spelled thus on the label - appeared in 1975 as the B-side of Michael Chung's 'Village Soul' on the UK label Black Wax, catalogue Wax 12, produced by Herman Chin Loy.
