Starred in 1978 Vietnam War film The Boys in Company C, as Private Dave Brisbee, nicknamed "Jesus" by his military superiors because of his long hair and beard, and hippie ideals. He played the guitar throughout the film, including the song "Here I Am" in the closing credits. They never released an official soundtrack, so it is a film-only song.
