About the artist
Band formed by Navy Vietnam veteran Edwin Dale (Ed) Bankston after returning home to Florida from service aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (returned 1972); named after a Navy squadron he had worked with. Self-released the concept album Over There... and Over Here (1983), reissued by Paradise of Bachelors in 2013; Bankston was later located in Phoenix, Arizona.
