This group was formed in October 1968 in Isla de la Juventud, Cuba, featuring Osvaldo Rodriguez. They released the song "Dentro de Viet-Nam" ("Inside Vietnam") (Areito # EPA-6450) - a state owned record label, based in Havana, Cuba. This group is often associated with the Nueva trova movement, the Cuban ofshoot of Nueva canción latinoamericana.. Written by Osvaldo Rodriguez, he said in an interview: In 1973 Jorge Fuentes called me, a director of the Armed Forces (FAR). There was a documentary called Inside Vietnam and they needed someone to make music for them. My group and I made incidental music for the report and a song called "Inside Vietnam". (1)
