The song "Ciudad Ho-Chi-Min" (Movieplay # MOV 5048) by Int-Illimani is an instrumental tribute to the renaming of Saigon as Ho Chi Minh City. It included sound-effects of re-building and Buddhist chants, mixed with Andean folk music. Released in Chile, South America, it fitted into the Nueva canción latinoamericana - new song movement, developed in Latin America in the 1960s, influenced by leftist social movements and historical events around the world, with politically charged lyrics. Inti-Illimani formed in 1967 in Santiago, Región Metropolitana de Santiago, Chile, one of the leading groups in the movement. The record label Movieplay was based in Madrid, Spain.
