Billy, I've Got to Go to Town (Stevens, Geraldine) (World Pacific Records # 77927) aka Dottie Stevens. Answer song to the well-known Kenny Rogers single Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town (Reprise Records # 0829), released in 1969, and composed by Mel Tillis. Johnny Darrell actually released an earlier, but less popular version in 1967 - Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town (United Artists Records # UA-50126). This Dodie Stevens answer went by the same tune as the original, with Mel Tillis receiving a credit on the label.
