Released in 1966, Johnny Mac's biography is unknown at this time - it is being assumed that he was involved with the military. It included a cover of Barry Sadler's Ballad of the Green Berets. The track "Let the Cannons Roar Loudly" ( (Crown Records # 5510) was narrated from the perspective a dead soldier who wanted people back home to know that he fought "with courage and pride". He declared that "I served my country well".
