About the artist
Roxy released one self-titled album on Elektra (EKS-74063, 1969) and the promotional single "(We Gotta) Stop The War" (Elektra PEACE-1, 1970), confirmed under the same Discogs artist entry. The band formed around Bob Segarini, Jimmy De Cocq and Randy Bishop, previously of Family Tree out of Stockton, California; on signing to Elektra, producer Gary Usher added Spencer Earnshaw, Mike Stull and Bill "Kootch" Trochim, bringing Toronto connections into the lineup. Usher later reorganised the group into The Wackers. Not the UK band Roxy Music. [Source: Discogs]
