Annotation — Metal Songs
Doom Metal group Shadow of Jupiter from Chicago, Illinois, USA, comprised of John Piotrowski (vocals), Colin Peterson (guitar), Scott Brakebill (bass), and Adam Kazragys (drums). They released the single "Daisy Cutter" (digital, self-release) - the title was the nickname for the BLU-82B/C-130 weapon system (a conventional bomb), used by the US during the Vietnam War to flatten sections of a forest, creating a helicopter landing zone.1 It also featured on the album Porta Coeli. It described the destruction the weapon caused: "Daisy cutter lays them all to waste... children wander roofless in rags".Sources1Wikipedia: BLU-82↩
