An actress and entertainer, Frances Langford, born on 4 April 1914 in Lakeland, Florida, USA, died on 11 July 2005 in Jensen Beach, Florida, USA, joined Bob Hope 's "Pepsodent Show" , which played at military bases across the United States in the 1940s. This successful show (broadcasted on radio) soon went overseas to American troops stationed in Europe, Africa, and the South Pacific during World War Two. Langford continued this for the new generation of soldiers in Korea and Vietnam - this record was her last ever public concert.
