Annotation — Draft Songs
My Name Is Jones (Carlisle, Bill) Born 19 December 1908, Wakefield, Kentucky, USA. Country, draft, home front perspective. Billboard 30 March 19681 I used to be a soldier, I want to get back. Swap my son's name from the list for mine. I've got experience, I can shoot just like I did in WW2. I don't want my son to go.Sources1Billboard, 30 March 1968↩
