Next up is another release from Lima, Peru, called "Prefiero irme al Vietnam" ("I Prefer to Go to Vietnam") (Sono Radio # 13025), which is an instrumental in the Cumbia peruana genre - "a variation of Colombian Cumbia originating in Peru in the 1960s. It was developed by the Andean people who migrated to the cities and was originally influenced by Psychedelic Rock". (1) Composed by Luis Demetrio, it is the same song released by Mexican artist Mike Laure on the single Prefiero irme a Vietnam / El electricsta, although without the lyrics.
