Annotation — European Songs
Post-war Crossover Thrash band, formed in 2002, in Jyväskylä, Finland. The group disbanded on 15 October 2016. This album featured the song "Personal Vietnam" (Roku Records # RNR-DF2), narrated from the perspective of a Vietnam veteran, "I remember Vietnam, the war was hard". It contained references to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - frequently referenced in post-war 1980s songs about US veterans, often connected in songs to stress, shell shock, flashbacks, nostalgia, and feelings and dreams related to an event: "part of a mere dream, part of the nightmare tormented". The song also referenced the Viet Cong - (or "VC") - the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (Vietnamese: Mặt trận Dân tộc Giải phóng Miền Nam Việt Nam) (NLFSV or NLF), the political and military resistance to the US and South Vietnamese government from within South Vietnam.
