Emis Killa, Pop Rap born Emiliano Rudolf Giambelli on 14 November 1989 in Vimercate, Italy, released the song "Vietnam Flow" (Carosello Records & Tapes), compared gang land violence in Lombardi, Italy to Vietnam War and other wars, including a reference to the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. It also referenced the 1994 film Forrest Gump which contained a Vietnam War segment: "I go to war like a soldier... I crush the Lombard territory... face in the mud Viet Cong, I light this bomb on Saddam, run like Forrest Gump from fucking Viet Nam".
