Klub 'Frühling' was a Vietnamese ensemble that appeared at the ninth Festival des politischen Liedes, the international political-song festival held annually in East Berlin by the FDJ; the festival's own participant archive lists the group as 'Frühling (Vietnam) 79'. "Vietnam - Kampuchea" was recorded live at that 1979 festival and issued on the state label Amiga's festival souvenir album 'Rote Lieder - 9. Festival des Politischen Liedes' (Amiga 8 45 169, German Democratic Republic, 1979), alongside performances by Oktoberklub, Karls Enkel, Maria Farandouri, Amparo Ochoa and Carlos Mejía…
