Presumed to be Marcus 'Mark' Barkan (4 July 1934, Brooklyn, New York - 8 May 2020, New York City), the Brill Building songwriter and producer behind 'Pretty Flamingo' (Manfred Mann, UK #1), Lesley Gore's 'She's a Fool', Connie Francis's 'I'm Gonna Be Warm This Winter', and 'The Tra La La Song' as musical director of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour; also produced The Deep's early psychedelic LP 'Psychedelic Moods' (1966).
