Lou Bond (real name Ronald Edward Lewis) was an American soul singer-songwriter who worked in Chicago and Memphis, recording for Chess and Fontana in the 1960s before being taken up at Stax Records' We Produce subsidiary by the producers Tom Nixon and Jo Bridges. His sole album, the self-titled 'Lou Bond', was issued on We Produce XPS-1904 in 1974, an orchestral Memphis soul record of protest ballads that was ignored on release and has since been much reissued, most prominently by Light in the Attic in 2010.
