Johnny Drake & Kitten were an American vocal duo pairing the singer Johnny Drake with a performer credited only as Kitten. Drake - real name John Brayman Monsch (born 1915 in Saint Paul, Minnesota; died 1985 in Los Angeles, California) - was a vocalist and clarinettist who had been the featured singer with Eddy Duchin and His Orchestra in the early 1940s, taking 'Two Dreams Met', 'Dream Valley' and 'You Walk By' into the charts, and who later sang with the Modernaires and the Randy Van Horne Singers; nothing has been established about Kitten beyond the credit itself.
