Jim Mansell, also billed as Jimmy Mansell, was an American country musician, singer-songwriter and bandleader active in the Kansas City, Missouri area from the late 1940s to the early 1970s, leading Jim Mansell and the Bar X Ranch Boys and Jim Mansell's Barn Dance Dandies and appearing with Slim Hayter and the Sons of the Saddle on the ten-inch 'Me, My Guitar And I' for Central Records. He recorded a short run of singles for Bud Throne's Throne label of Independence, Missouri, including 'You Expect Me To Believe You' with the Wright Sisters and 'My One For The Road' with Sandy West.
