Johnny Cole (Jonathan C. Cole) was an American West Coast singer, songwriter and record producer, best known as co-writer of 'I Still Love Him' for the Joys, as a collaborator of Harry Nilsson, as proprietor of Vine Street Music Publishing and as co-owner, with the arranger George Tipton, of Parade Records. "War, No More", written by Fred Darian and Joseph Van Winkle, was issued on Art Laboe's Los Angeles label Original Sound OS-24 in 1962, backed with 'Love of Diane'; Van Winkle produced, Tipton arranged the A-side, and the disc was pressed at RCA's Hollywood plant.
