Obscure Canadian soul singer Carla Whitney released only one album, self-titled Carla Whitney (Attic Records # LAT 1005), backed by Choker Campbell and the "Super Sounds". It contained the track "War" - Campbell arranged, produced, and co-wrote the song (with Horace Williams). Whitney sung that although the "killing and dying" is over, there needed to be "no more cheating and lying". Whitney called on people to "show me the love".
