Annotation
The Brothers of Soul were Fred Bridges, Richard Knight, Bobby Eaton, an R&B vocal group founded in Detroit, Michigan. They also recorded under the name The Creations. The song "Wait For Me" (Boo # 1006) was a sweet soul song about a soldier writing home to his loved one. He told the listener that he was "fighting for my country and doing the best I can". He re-assured his love that "it won't be too long...I'm coming home, darling", so "wait for me".
