Annotation
Hardcore Punk group Formed in 1978 in Töreboda, Västra Götalands län, Sweden. Disbanded in 1986. Members included: Members Micke (vocals, guitar), Bonni (vocals, guitar), Ernie (bass, vocals), Dadde (drums), Pelle, Uffe, Steve Aktiv, and Bjurre. They released the song "Vietnam" (PROFIT 001), which was about Agent Orange - the defoliant / herbicide used by U.S. forces during the Vietnam War, which had long term negative health effects on the Vietnamese and US soldier whom came into contact with the chemical. It is frequently referenced in post-war songs. The narrator described Vietnam as "a pointless war". It described the US as "eradicating pigs with gas, a herbicide called Agent Orange". They sprayed it over Vietnam and the "leaves of the trees fell off". However, children were "born without arms and legs", and that the "Vietnamese men were blind, got cancer, and died" because of poisoned rice.
